We are looking for a Mid Weight Product Manager to join our team. This role blends hands-on delivery with strategic consulting. We help our clients to translate feature ideas into real, shippable outcomes while advising on how to leverage Connected TV to meet their business goals, and identifying the most suitable approach to development for Connected TV.

At FX, our product specialists work as the voice of our clients, working closely with the client and the internal project delivery team to gather and communicate requirements and realise the vision. Each client-side team is unique, with varying levels of product ownership. In some projects, we follow the client’s lead closely, while in others, we take a more active role in defining requirements and steering the product direction. Adaptability is key to meeting the needs of each project and client team structure.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the product delivery on one or more client projects, from kick-off to launch.
  • Act as a trusted partner to client stakeholders.Represent the product function in client meetings, updates, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, QA, and client teams to define the product vision, roadmap, and release plans.
  • Support quarterly roadmapping workshops, helping clients shape near term priorities and long term goals.
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather and prioritise requirements such as functional, non-functional, technical, accessibility etc.
  • Document requirements as clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with the FX Project Manager and client stakeholders to shape the delivery plan, define MVPs, and identify risks or dependencies early.
  • Understand platform specific constraints (e.g., tvOS, Android, Roku, Samsung Tizen, etc.) and ensure product decisions account for them.
  • Ensure platform vendor requirements are met, and manage the app submission process.
  • Drive conversations around feasibility, effort, and tradeoffs.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and 3 amigos sessions.
  • Use prioritisation techniques to keep focus on delivering the most valuable work.
  • Continuously refine the backlog in response to feedback, changing business needs, and technical constraints.
  • Help define success metrics and ensure tracking is in place.
  • Partner with clients to interpret user and performance data and translate insights into product improvements.
  • Carry out product research to identify trends, benchmark competitors, and ensure the team is applying current industry best practices.
  • Occasionally lead or contribute to user research and interviews, and product strategy work such as customer journey mapping or persona development.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve the product or expand the engagement.

What we’re looking for

This role is suitable for someone who

  • Has 2-5 years of experience in a product management, product owner, or business analyst role, ideally in a digital agency or consumer-facing app environment.
  • Has a strong understanding of front-end app development and user experience design.
  • Can talk comfortably with engineers about APIs, SDKs, platforms, and data tracking.
  • Can translate complex ideas into clear requirements.
  • Has experience working in agile teams with designers, developers, and QAs.
  • Is comfortable leading meetings, managing stakeholders, and driving progress.
  • Is able to work from our London office 3 days a week.
  • Bonus: Experience with CTV app development, OTT platforms, streaming services, or media apps.
  • Bonus: Experience working in a client facing role.
